Description: CME was contracted to move a ships crane from NAS Alameda to Norfolk VA. The crane components collectively weighed 234,000 lb they were transported by heavy lift trucks to barge, barge to railcar then shipped across the United States. In Virginia the components were loaded back on to a barge and finally delivered safely to their ultimate destination.
