Description: CME evaluated and tested an abandoned railroad bridge as an economical method of rigging a large 306 ton generator into the PSE&G Linden, NJ station. The pile supported bridge was first inspected and upgraded, then load tested with CME’s locomotive and test weights to prove the generator could cross the bridge safely. This is one of many unique options we have developed for our clients, combining our construction skills with our transportation and logistics experience.
Location: Linden, NJ
Customer: PSE&G
Comments: Generator safety crossed the bridge and was delivered to the Linden facility.
