Description: CME’s new Manitowoc 2250 Series 3 lifting one of TransCanada’s 160,000 pound transformers from a deck barge. The transformer was loaded at a Hicksville, N.Y. storage facility and transported to a dock at Port Washington, N.Y. Then it was loaded and delivered by CME’s tug and barge to CME’s marine terminal for storage. Should an emergency arise, CME can quickly deliver the unit to TransCanada’s facility.
